Hi guys! My name is CathyLou and this is my story.

I was always told how smart I was. I was top of my school. And then I went to college and studied music.

I didn’t do that well, due to injury, and when I finished I went into Admin. After four years of Admin and Customer Service I was bored out of my mind. I became interested in making money online and heard about this thing called affiliate marketing. I hadn’t heard about it before, I’d only ever tried doing surveys (no luck) and entering competitions. I started using Squidoo and looking for all the information I could find on how to make money online.

I skipped over countless paid courses and programs that promised the world – I’ve always been suspicious of those! Eventually, I did buy a training course, One Week Marketing which helped me get a few things straight and in the end I also joined Wealthy Affiliate, whose resources I now use on a daily basis. I also quit my job almost immediately. Sometimes I’m a bit extreme like that!

I’m now up to the part of my internet career where I’m starting to make money. Not very much yet. But I am working on it.

Everyone looks to internet marketing for ‘quick cash’, but for most people, you need to go through a lengthy learning process before you begin to see results.

On this website I am going to go through what helped me, and what I have made real money with.
